Your best moments of 2011 . . . Posh fans pick their highlights
I would nominate Posh 4, Cardiff 3. #whatacomeback.
@Celicadave The 7-1 win v Ipswich which sort of proved people wrong about missing Craig MackailSmith.
@Phil_b82 The performance and the atmosphere as Posh beat Franchise FC in the play-off semi-final at London Road.
@jones_jamie For me the best performance of 2011 was Mark Little’s scuff to win the penalty against MK Dons in the play-off semi-final first leg.
@Charlie9753 Sending the tractor boys
packing live ontv.
@carlprior Paultaylor’s winning goal in the 4-3 game against Cardiff.
@freekicks The best moment for me is Posh winning the play-off final as I was there.
@taffyboy The second leg of the playoff semi-final against MK Dons at London Road was right up there with Posh v Gillingham in 1974 as the best match ever played at London Road.
The 3-0 draw against Huddersfield at Oldtrafford wasn’t bad either.
@Werrington2 Charlie Lee’s goal at Notts County.
T_gillespie93 Gary Johnson getting the sack.
@paddyposh Joe Lewis finally losing his place in the side, although a shame it was because of a nasty injury,
And hearing that Gaby Zakuani would play in the second leg of the play-off semi-final three days after dislocating is shoulder was mental.
@_Alcoposh Running on the pitch when after beating MK Dons 2-0 in the play-off semi-final was
@Tskinner_200995 Birmingham away. I thought Grant Mccann was too far out to score from his freekick, but boy did he prove me wrong.
@Andrewbdvk The best Posh moment of 2011 was only losing by one goal to the mighty Leeds United.
@Kevgilbertlufc 3-0 up at half-time at Sheffield Wednesday. I know Wednesday were poor, but it was still Hillsborough.
The first half at Hillsborough was the best half of football I’ve seen us have away from home. Finally made a poor team look as bad as they were.
@fozzy_chris Lording it at the top of the stand at Birmingham when Grant Mccann scored from his free-kick. #youdontsavethosesir. @Hillingdonposh. The desire of CMS to get back and cover the goal line as Wesolowski made that block tackle v MK Dons in the play-off semi-final.
@matt_posh It wasn’t just winning the play-off final it was reading Gaby Zakuani’s legendary banter afterwards.
Plus tearing Ipswich apart live on Sky.
@pufcfanno1 Seeing the ‘believe’t-shirts raining down from the upper tier when Grant Mccann scored the third goal in the play-off final.
Mark Little’s run which created the second goal at MK Dons in the play-off semi-final and Ryan Bennett’s England under 21 call-up
@Rjerram A new contender arrived on Boxing day with George Boyd’s goal at Nottingham Forest.
