All about Chelsea’s training ground
BILLIONAIRE owner Roman Abramovich revamped Chelsea’s training facilities when he took over in 200 .
He invested an estimated £20 million in the centre, which is on a 140acre campus in Cobham, Surrey.
The centre boasts 0 football pitches, of which six are to a Premier League standard, indoor artificial pitch, media centre, medical centre, gyms, cold immersion pools, sauna, steam room, Hydroworx pool and 56ft hydrotherapy pool.
It took three years to create the state-of-the-art centre, which houses all of the club’s training and medical treatment facilities for the first team, academy, reserve and women’s teams.
