Woman had drugs worth over £500
A WOMAN has admitted possessing more than £500 worth of drugs including cocaine and ketamine at her home.
Natalie Fisher (30), of All Saints Close, March appeared at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
Fisher, who is unemployed, pleaded guilty to two charges of possessing class A drugs and guilty to one charge of possessing a class C drug.
Anthea Harris, prosecuting, said police officers searched Fisher’s home on September 30 and found around £200 worth of cocaine, £270 worth of ecstasy and £75 worth of ketamine.
Roger Glazebrook, defending, said: “The drugs were for personal use. She is a social drug user but she is not addicted to them.
“When the drugs were found she had recently celebrated her 30th birthday and was planning to have a weekend away with some friends.
“She bought the drugs and was planning to use them for a long weekend.”
Fisher was released on bail while pre-sentence reports are carried out and she is due to return to court for sentencing at a later date.
