IT’S a busy start to the morning, we are officially launching Athene Vision - our new video production unit at the end of the week but have already received bookings from existing clients.
My first stop is Bedford to film a case study for the Bedfordshire and Luton Local Resilience Forum (BLLRF).
I’ve been asked to produce a video to encourage other businesses to put in place a disaster recovery plan.
The shoot went well and after a quick sandwich I return to the office and get straight down to editing.
First I work on a film commissioned by Longhurst Group, an East Midlands housing developer, on a project about care and support services.
I then spend the remainder of the afternoon putting together the finishing touches to the Athene Vision brochure. BBC developing talent award.
This award is organised by BBC North in conjunction with One World Media.
It was a really good day and I met some very interesting people who I’m hoping to collaborate with in the future.
We conducted the interview in one of the round houses which was an interesting experience with low light.
Fortunately, I had a camera top light with me so this wasn’t an issue.
We also had the fire lit in the round house which added to the atmosphere and it would have been very authentic had I not had a camera and tripod in the room.
After finishing the shoot I head back to the office to put the final touches to my show reel which will go alongside our launch material for Athene Vision.
