Wednesday

The Peterborough Evening Telegraph - - Your -

AFTER the excitement of yesterday it is back to work.

Today I come in and get straight down to editing, finishing off the changes to the Longhurst film.

There are some interesting cases within this film.

The story I find the most powerful is that of Nicola, a young woman who has schizophrenic symptoms.

She has just moved from what is known as supported living to living on her own.

For her this is a big leap forward in her recovery and so far she has made great progress.

This is the kind of story I really enjoy telling and the kind of film I find rewarding to make.

Longhurst specifically asked for a film in a documentary style, but at Athene I film all types of videos from video press releases, to internal communications messages for senior management to training and corporate videos.

I really enjoy this type of work as every day is different.
