Prodrick, also a member of Werrington Joggers, only made his duathlon debut at the Dambuster Duathlon in March and was so taken by the sport that he decided to compete on the tough Carsington Water course.
He had faster run splits than the gold medallist but was not as quick on the bike or in transitions.
Canham was PACRAC’S first finisher though in 18th position overall.
The event was held over an undulating 7.5mile run, 25-mile bike and 2.5-mile flat run.
