An­other in court over Sonny death

A SEC­OND man from Wis­bech has ap­peared in court charged with the mur­der of a pen­sioner.

Robert Holmes ap­peared be­fore mag­is­trates in Lin­coln yes­ter­day charged with the mur­der of 70-year-old Sonny Grey.

Mr Grey died af­ter an at­tack at his home West­wick Gar­dens, Lin­coln, last Oc­to­ber.

Boil­ing water was said to have been poured over him dur­ing the vi­cious at­tack.

Holmes (23), of Red­moor Lane, Wis­bech, was re­manded into cus­tody to next ap­pear at Lin­coln Crown Court for a plea and di­rec­tions hear­ing to­day

Rocky Cur­tis (24), of New­bridge Lane, Wis­bech, is also due to ap­pear via vide­olink at Lin­coln Crown Court for a pre­lim­i­nary hear­ing to­day

The two men were ar­rested on Mon­day along with a 49year-old woman, who has been re­leased on po­lice bail.

VIC­TIM: Sonny Grey died af­ter be­ing vi­o­lently at­tacked.
