Bail in Alisa arrests
THE two men arrested on suspicion of the murder of a Wisbech teenager have been released on bail.
The men, aged 28 and 31 from the Wisbech area, were arrested in King’s Lynn on Tuesday on suspicion of the murder of 17-year-old Alisa Dmitrijeva.
The teenager was last seen on August 31 last year and reported missing on September 6.
Despite a major search operation, it was not until New Year’s Day that her body was discovered.
A dog walker found her body in a copse in Amner, near to the Queen’s Sandringham estate.
A DNA profile and palm print identified the remains as those of the 17-year-old.
She was last seen in a green Lexus on August 31 and she is believed to have been at Snettisham beach, in Norfolk, some time overnight between August 30 and August 31.
The men who were arrested on suspicion of her murder have been released on police bail by Norfolk police until July.
