ET’S Pride in Peterborough Awards is always a special night.

This year’s big night was held at the Holiday Inn and was hosted by Coronation Street star Antony Cotton.

Antony was impressed by the local people who were all “true stars”.

What makes the night special is how humble our winners always are

With the help of our readers who nominate and vote in their hundreds, the awards give those who deserve it most some recognition for what they have achieved.

Those achievements are spectacular and varied.

From climbing the highest peaks of the Earth to raise money for charity to courageous battles with health problems or disabilities.

From showing incredible courage in dangerous situations to courage in the most trying of personal circumstances, every single one of our finalists had achieved something really special.

We are proud to stage the awards and we’re already making plans for next year’s.

Every one of our finalists can be proud of what they have achieved and it’s our privilege to show how proud their city is of them.
