Amer­i­can cir­cus rolls into town

‘SU­PER hu­mans’ are on the bill for a breath­tak­ing cir­cus that has pitched up next to the Em­bank­ment in Peter­bor­ough.

Un­cle Sam’s Amer­i­can Cir­cus Act held its first shows yes­ter­day and per­for­mances will take place all the way through un­til Bank Hol­i­day Mon­day.

There will be shows to­day and to­mor­row at 5pm and .30pm; on Satur­day at 1.30pm, 4pm and 6.30pm; and on Sun­day at 3pm and 4.30pm. On Bank Hol­i­day Mon­day shows will be at 2pm and 4.30pm.

A spokesman for the event said: “Our spec­tac­u­lar show con­tains non-stop ac­tion and laugh­ter for the whole fam­ily.

“The act ev­ery­one is wait­ing for is the death-de­fy­ing Thun­der­ball riders, who are dare­devil mo­tor­cy­cle per­form­ers who whizz around a gi­ant me­tal ball at break­neck speeds of up to 60mph.”

Tick­ets are avail­able on site only and cost from £ .50 chil­dren and £8 for adults.
