American circus rolls into town
‘SUPER humans’ are on the bill for a breathtaking circus that has pitched up next to the Embankment in Peterborough.
Uncle Sam’s American Circus Act held its first shows yesterday and performances will take place all the way through until Bank Holiday Monday.
There will be shows today and tomorrow at 5pm and .30pm; on Saturday at 1.30pm, 4pm and 6.30pm; and on Sunday at 3pm and 4.30pm. On Bank Holiday Monday shows will be at 2pm and 4.30pm.
A spokesman for the event said: “Our spectacular show contains non-stop action and laughter for the whole family.
“The act everyone is waiting for is the death-defying Thunderball riders, who are daredevil motorcycle performers who whizz around a giant metal ball at breakneck speeds of up to 60mph.”
Tickets are available on site only and cost from £ .50 children and £8 for adults.
