Recent dog attacks in the city

The Peterborough Evening Telegraph - - Uk&world Update -

A NUMBER of dog attacks on Peterborough residents have taken place in recent times.

Last week, election candidate Pieter Smit had his right hand mauled by a dog as he posted election leaflets through the letterbox of a house in Birchwood, Orton Goldhay. He suffered a broken index finger in the attack which left the nail on his middle finger “hanging by a thread”.

In January pensioner Linda Hider was left with severe cuts after an attack by three Staffordshire bull terriers as she walked her dog in Sunnymead, Werrington.
