Young­sters are urged to join in with char­ity run

CHIL­DREN are be­ing in­vited to take part in a new fund-rais­ing event to help a na­tional char­ity.

Aimed at young­sters un­der the age of 11, ‘Lit­tle Legs for Life’ aims to raise money for Can­cer Re­search UK.

The fun event will take place at Lax­ton Ju­nior School on May 13 at 2pm and is open to young­sters in Oun­dle and the sur­round­ing area.

It has been or­gan­ised by Oun­dle mums Sa­man­tha Harper (28), her­self a can­cer sur­vivor, Lisa Lucca and Les­ley Tay­lor.

A spokes­woman said: “There is no set dis­tance for the course. In­stead, chil­dren of all ages and abil­i­ties will be able to walk or run as far and as fast as they like for a good cause.
