Metallers turn it up to eleven
A TRIO of heavy metal bands aim to add some steel to the Peterborough gig scene.
Flawless Victory, Kaine and Each To Their Own are all on the bill at the Peterborough Met Lounge on Friday, May 18.
Headliners Flawless Victory are on the verge of signing their first record deal having been the brainchild of local metallers’ Mike Regis and Greg Wilson.
Their self stylised ‘groove metal’ has been compared to bands like Pantera with elements of newer metal acts like System of a Down.
Kaine has been around since 2009, touring extensively in the East of England last year. The band’s traditional metal sound has been compared to that of early Iron Maiden and Metallica.
Each to their Own represent the new generation at the show. Their post hardcore sound setting them apart from the other bands on the bill appealing to the younger fans of today.
Tickets for the show cost £5 and will be available on the door.
