Seven-point courtesy test
THE National Campaign for Courtesy was launched in 1986 by the Reverend Ian Gregory, a congregational minister.
The society has a seven-point courtesy test for people to try, which is below.
1. Do you say please and thank you on a daily basis?
2. Do you hold doors open for others?
. Do you acknowledge actions of courtesy when you receive them?
4. Do you ever allow others to enter a bus or train before yourself?
5. Do you treat others as you would like to be treated yourself? 6. Do you give way to other drivers? 7. Do you really listen to other people?
