New walks to reveal city nature
WILDLIFE-LOVING residents can keep fit and learn about animals at a walk around a nature reserve.
Amphibian charity Froglife has launched a series of guided walks around Hampton Nature Reserve, with the first one taking place tomorrow.
The walks will have a variety of themes which will include general wildlife strolls, a reptile safari, a walk in the dark to search for creatures of the night.
There will be a suggested donation which will go towards Froglife’s work supporting reptile and amphibian conservation through habitat management, the provision of information and environmental education.
All the walks will be designed for people who have a general interest in wildlife and such participants do not need to be an expert to attend, with the charity hoping everyone will be able to learn or see something new at the events.
Those interested in booking a guided walk should contact Rebecca Neal on 01733 425826 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
