Manners really do make a difference

SUPERMARKET

assistant Marc Sherwood has won an award for his good manners.

He works in the electrical and entertainments department of the city’s ASDA supermarket in Rivergate and is renowned for being helpful, polite and dedicated to providing top notch customer service.

Of course good manners should be something we can take for granted.

Sadly, in the modern world they are all too lacking.

That is why it is such a pleasant experience when people like marc and stores like Asda put real effort into manners and service.

It makes a difference, helps us buy what we want but most importantly, brightens our day... and you can’t put a price on that.
