Treat for fundraisers at centre

The Peterborough Evening Telegraph - - NEWS -

A LUXURIOUS charity event offering treats for residents was a big hit.

The first Hampton Treats For All event took place at the Hampton vale Community Centre, raising money for The Rosie Campaign.

The Rosie Campaign is raising money for research and treatment of Hypoxic-ischemic Encephalopathy (HIE).

HIE develops when there is an interruption of a person’s blood supply and critically oxygen, to the brain during labour. Survivors may go on to develop cerebral palsy, have long-term visual or hearing problems or develop learning difficulties.

At the event there was a a variety of stalls from local shops and businesses, a Minnie Mouse mascot, bouncy castle, face painter, Faye and the Desert Dancers and a charity raffle.

It is hoped the event will become a regular fixture in the Hampton calendar in the future.
