Your views needed to help plan trans­port fa­cil­i­ties

RES­I­DENTS liv­ing in and around Hunt­ing­don are be­ing asked for their views to help shape the fu­ture of their trans­port fa­cil­i­ties.

Cam­bridgeshire County Coun­cil and Hunt­ing­don­shire Dis­trict Coun­cil are draft­ing a new Mar­ket Town Trans­port Strat­egy for the area.

The coun­cils are look­ing to im­prove trans­port links, in­clud­ing cy­cling fa­cil­i­ties, public trans­port and pedes­tri­ans ac­cess to help re­duce con­ges­tion, sup­port busi­ness and im­prove health.

Gra­ham Hughes, for Cam­bridgeshire County Coun­cil, said: “You can make a real dif­fer­ence in the fu­ture of trans­port in Hunt­ing­don.”

The sur­vey can be filled in on­line at www.cam­bridgeshire.gov.uk.

Hard copies of the sur­vey can also be col­lected from Hunt­ing­don Li­brary, in Princes Street, Hunt­ing­don­shire Dis­trict Coun­cil’s Pathfinder House, in St Mary’s Street, One Leisure Hunt­ing­don, in St Peter’s Road, Hinch­ing­brooke Hospi­tal, in Hinch­ing­brooke Park, the Oak Tree Cen­tre, in Oak Drive, Ro­man Gate Surgery, in Pin­fold Lane, or God­manch­ester Town Coun­cil of­fices and re­turned by freep­ost.

The con­sul­ta­tion pe­riod will run un­til Sun­day, May 27.
