Your views needed to help plan transport facilities
RESIDENTS living in and around Huntingdon are being asked for their views to help shape the future of their transport facilities.
Cambridgeshire County Council and Huntingdonshire District Council are drafting a new Market Town Transport Strategy for the area.
The councils are looking to improve transport links, including cycling facilities, public transport and pedestrians access to help reduce congestion, support business and improve health.
Graham Hughes, for Cambridgeshire County Council, said: “You can make a real difference in the future of transport in Huntingdon.”
The survey can be filled in online at www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk.
Hard copies of the survey can also be collected from Huntingdon Library, in Princes Street, Huntingdonshire District Council’s Pathfinder House, in St Mary’s Street, One Leisure Huntingdon, in St Peter’s Road, Hinchingbrooke Hospital, in Hinchingbrooke Park, the Oak Tree Centre, in Oak Drive, Roman Gate Surgery, in Pinfold Lane, or Godmanchester Town Council offices and returned by freepost.
The consultation period will run until Sunday, May 27.
