BRAVE sol­diers from the Royal Nor­folk Reg­i­ment are pic­tured here cross­ing a Peter­bor­ough bridge.

I’m sure you will recog­nise the lo­ca­tion as Town Bridge.

The Royal Nor­folk Reg­i­ment, orig­i­nally formed as the Nor­folk Reg­i­ment, was an in­fantry reg­i­ment of the Bri­tish Army.

In the Sec­ond World War, the reg­i­ment bat­tal­ions were in ac­tion in the bat­tle of France and the Far East.
