Of­fer will help young to work

A FREE break­fast work­shop for busi­ness man­agers to learn more about ap­pren­tice­ships is be­ing held at City Col­lege Peter­bor­ough.

Owner man­agers and work­force man­agers and ex­ec­u­tives are in­vited to the event at 7.30am on May 17 to find out about how they could ben­e­fit from a £1,500 in­cen­tive and learn about ap­pren­tice­ship and em­ploy­a­bil­ity schemes.

Bal­winder Gill, cur­ricu­lum man­ager ap­pren­tice­ships and busi­ness skills man­ager at the col­lege, said: “More and more busi­nesses recog­nise the ben­e­fits tak­ing on an ap­pren­tice, but do not know how to find out more be­fore they take the first step.”
