Film night re­turns with The Help

THE Deep­ings film night re­turns this week. Deep­ings Arts’ film night re­turns on Thurs­day, May 10 with The Help - a drama about a novelist who de­cides to write a book about the life of two black maids dur­ing 1960s Amer­ica. This year the monthly cinema is in the Pri­ory Church Hall, in Church Street, Deep­ing St James. It has al­ready had suc­cess with Bri­tish come­dies Chalet Girl star­ring Bill Nighy and Sub­ma­rine. The cinema is held on the sec­ond Thurs­day of ev­ery month with doors open­ing at 7.15pm and the film start­ing at 7.30pm. Tick­ets are £3.50 on the door.
