The Queen’s favourite dog has seen a boost in pop­u­lar­ity in the Di­a­mond Ju­bilee year, ac­cord­ing to the Ken­nel Club. An in­creas­ing num­ber of peo­ple are show­ing an in­ter­est in corgi breeds af­ter a long pe­riod of “wor­ry­ing de­cline”, the or­gan­i­sa­tion said. The num­ber of peo­ple look­ing for Pembroke Welsh corgi pup­pies, the Queen’s favourite breed, has in­creased by more than a third in the past four months, sta­tis­tics from the Find a Puppy web­site show.
