Open event may be pass­port to study

STAFF at Univer­sity Cen­tre Peter­bor­ough are poised to throw open their doors to the public.

The cen­tre in Park Cres­cent is host­ing an open evening for any­one con­sid­er­ing study­ing for a higher ed­u­ca­tion qual­i­fi­ca­tion.

The event will take place on Mon­day be­tween 6pm and 8pm. A cen­tre spokes­woman said: “There will be op­por­tu­ni­ties to speak to the ex­pert tu­tors from their broad port­fo­lio of cour­ses and there will be lots to see with the va­ri­ety of dis­plays and demon­stra­tions.”

The event is aimed at peo­ple study­ing A Lev­els or BTECS or who may need a higher level qual­i­fi­ca­tion to fur­ther a ca­reer or are a ma­ture stu­dent look­ing to come back to ed­u­ca­tion.
