Roger’s battles with cancer
THERE have been testing times In Roger’s life that have had nothing to do with the law.
Although he has never smoked, he was diagnosed with throat cancer in 2005.
He had an operation, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and had to be fed through a plastic tube in his stomach for six months afterwards.
Then two years later Roger was diagnosed with a totally unrelated tumour on his right lung, had to have a third of his lung removed and another course of chemotherapy. He still suffers the consequences of his treatment but has recovered from the disease.
