Supermarket on look out for charity
A CITY supermarket is on the lookout for a charity it can fund raise for over the course of the next 12 months.
Sainsbury’s, in the Bretton Centre is asking customers and staff to put forward the names of charities based in Peterborough that are important to them between now and May 23.
A shortlist of nominations will be drawn up after this date and the store’s staff will then invite the three charities that they feel best fit the needs of the community into store to talk about how Sainsbury’s can support them.
The store will then choose a charity to partner with for the next 12 months.
To nominate a charity customers should fill out a form and pop it into the store’s Local Charity Partner voting box at the front of the store.
