PETER­BOR­OUGH Rugby Club’s mini and ju­nior teams are fully equipped for next sea­son thanks to the gen­eros­ity of for­mer Peter­bor­ough play­ers.

Peter­bor­ough Rugby Old Play­ers So­ci­ety (PROPS) was formed two years ago with the aim to strengthen the bond be­tween for­mer play­ers of Peter­bor­ough Rugby Club and to raise funds in sup­port of Peter­bor­ough Rugby Club and rugby in gen­eral in the Peter­bor­ough area.

The pre­sen­ta­tion of 40 match balls and water bot­tles, amongst many other items of train­ing equip­ment, was made by PROPS founder Phil Elmer at the to see this highly suc­cess­ful sec­tion con­tinue and im­prove”.

Rush­brook added “I be­lieve it is im­por­tant for the young play­ers to be sup­ported by the for­mer play­ers. It pro­vides an ex­cel­lent link be­tween the present and the past which is greatly ap­pre­ci­ated by the young­sters and their coaches”.
