Heskey, Owen and a barmaid from the Swiss Cottage!

The Peterborough Evening Telegraph - - Etbusiness Daily -

POSH boss Darren Ferguson is seeking a goalkeeper, a right-back, a centre-back, a couple of midfielders and a striker in the summer sales.

It’s expected that Wrexham centre-back Nathanial Knight-percival will complete a free transfer move to London Road soon and Posh have also confirmed that they will be giving a trial to St Ives striker Conor Washington, a player who scored 52 goals in 50 games this season.

Posh have been linked with Stevenage midfielder Michael Bostwick and Northampton play-maker Dan Jacobs since the end of last season.

And previous targets of Ferguson are also now available such as Scunthorpe midfielder Michael O’connor.

But who do the Posh fans want to see at London Road next season? That’s the question we asked on Twitter @Alanswannet and the replies ranged from the best player in the world to a Boston United reserve player who turns out occasionally for Pinchbeck.
