Charity shoot-out raises £864
GENEROUS football lovers who took to the penalty box for a shoot-out at Peterborough United raised more than £800 for charity.
Hampton resident Marco Sementa organised the event at London Road ground to raise money for the Make A Wish Foundation and the East Anglian Air Ambulance.
The shoot-out raised £864, which will be split equally between the two causes.
Mr Sementa said: “I’m really chuffed by the amount raised.”
A separate raffle of a Ryan Giggs signed shirt, also organised by Mr Sementa, has managed to rake in around £420 for the Make A Wish Foundation.
