Scheme to help green fingered residents
BUDDING gardeners can get help with learning the skills needed to get their garden growing.
South Holland District Council has joined the Master Gardeners scheme to help people get out in their garden.
The project is supported by the Health and Well-being Fund, a partnership between NHS Lincolnshire and Lincolnshire County Council.
Green-fingered duo Glenys Bower-macer and Jane Broome, along with a 10strong team, are prepared to offer their help to residents.
Jane encouraged people to get involved.
She said: “Now’s a good time to think about buying some seeds and getting them going whether you have a window box; a patio or yard for some pots; or a back garden, large or small.
“Don’t worry if you don’t know what to do. Contact me and I could be round to give you all the advice you need to get you started and support you.”
All households in South Holland can take part in this new and free project.
