EACH is the children’s hospice service for families in Peterborough and the surrounding area. It provides care and support wherever the family wishes – in families’ own homes, in hospital or at one of their hospices in Milton, Ipswich and Quidenham.
Debbie Fairhurst, corporate fundraiser at EACH, said: “This year we need to raise £4.8 million in donations to deliver our services, amounting to £13,000 a day, every day.
“The money raised through the generosity of the teams taking part in the Dragon Boat Festival is very important to us and will go towards the one-to-one nursing care and support that is so vital to life-threatened local children and their families.”
