ANYONE interested in organising a litter pick should contact their ward councillor.

Enterprise Peterborough has organised high-visibility jackets, litter grabbers, gloves and bags for teams who want to give it a go.

Peterborough Environment City Trust (PECT) runs litter picks on the third Sunday of every month from noon to 2pm, meet- ing at the Riverside Pavilion, in Sugar Way, Woodston.

Meanwhile Keep Britain Tidy also runs the adopt-a-river RiverCare scheme and organises litter picks and biodiversity walks along riverbanks.

And for those in the villages, the Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE) is also working with parish councils to support litter picks.
