lady then came in to try on veils and tiaras and likes a dress we have on show.
I’m designing an LED cake stand (for hire) and request tweaks from the designer via email. He’s delivering on Wednesday and I can’t wait to see it.
A couple come in for six Swedish suits. We choose fabric and talk through options on lining personalisation.
Last customer of the day, and we design ribboned seed packet favours.
Close at 5pm and we pack away stock to take to tomorrow’s wedding fayre. We don’t take wedding cakes or photographers’ albums but do take stationery, crystal bouquets, garters and bridal jewellery.

I discuss how our lifelike figurines can be used corporately and the MD can be modelled, and how personalised bottle labels, crackers and glasses work as corporate items, too.
Later, at home, I surf for vintage items and styles, as I expect weddings to go vintage mad for 2013.
Finished writing an article on what’s new for 2013 for Wedding Scene magazine for their autumn edition. perfectly. I arrange for them to meet her on Sunday.
I take a booking for our videographer and then have a meeting with a humorous couple who order cute photographic wedding stationery.
Doors close at 5pm, but the Elton Society have their Jubilee meeting here and we all have coffee and finish planning at 7pm.
