Crash causes disruption for motorists
MOTORISTS in Peterborough suffered disruption following a two-vehicle collision outside a supermarket in the city yesterday morning.
The crash happened near Morrisons in Lincoln Road and was reported to Cambridgeshire police just after 10.45am.
It involved a white Iveco van and a silver Peugeot car.
The collision left the road partially blocked for more than 80 minutes while recovery work took place.
It was not until 12.07pm the road became entirely clear for traffic again.
The East of England Ambulance Service were called to the scene at 10.53am, arriving five minutes later.
A male, believed to be 41, was taken by paramedics to Peterborough City Hospital for treatment for minor neck injuries at about 11.35am.
Police are appealing for witnesses of the crash to contact them on 101.
