Lo­cal his­tory lec­ture tak­ing place this week

THE next meet­ing of the Sawtry His­tory So­ci­ety will take place to­mor­row evening. It will take place at the Women’s In­sti­tute Hall, in Gid­ding Road, Sawtry. The talk by Ox­ford Arche­ol­ogy’s James Fair­bairn is en­ti­tled The Sched­uled An­cient Mon­u­ment And What It means For the Lo­cal His­tory. Vis­i­tors are wel­come and there is plenty of park­ing. There is a £10 an­nual sub­scrip­tion to join the group or it is £1.50 per meet­ing for vis­i­tors.
