Woman hurt after alleged hit and run
A woman has been injured after an alleged hit and run collision in a town centre.
The woman, who is in her 60s, was walking in High Street, Wisbech, near the branch of Shoe Zone at 10.50am yesterday when the incident happened.
She was involved in an accident with a dark coloured car, thought to be a Volvo, which is then said to have driven away from the scene.
The woman was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn, where her injuries were not said to be serious.
A man has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and failing to stop after a collision.
