IT is just like “Groundhog Day”. I cannot believe that we are talking about this AGAIN! They have been plotting the destruction of this beautiful building for years – It’s not as if they have just been given the sculpture and have to find somewhere to put it in a hurry. I think it was total crass stupidity of the first order to demolish Bridge House (which the council own) while they rent very expensive offices at Stuart House. I don’t understand why anyone thought it was a good idea. Maybe Mr Enderby should demolish our house, leave it as a vacant site and we could go and live in a hotel for the rest of our lives. That would make sound economic sense wouldn’t it? Is it me?
