A RANGE of Par­a­lympic sports can be tried at a spe­cial event in Peter­bor­ough to­mor­row.

A Par­a­lympic ac­tiv­ity day is be­ing held at Ferry Mead­ows from noon on­wards.

A spokesman for Vi­vac­ity, which is or­gan­is­ing the event, said: “This is a fan­tas­tic op­por­tu­nity for peo­ple with a dis­abil­ity, their fam­ily, friends and car­ers get the chance to try a num­ber of Par­a­lympic and non-par­a­lympic sports mark­ing 100 days to the start of the Par­a­lympics.

Other Par­a­lympic events are tak­ing place at the city’s Re­gional Fit­ness and Swim­ming Cen­tre, Ferry Mead­ows and Peter­bor­ough Re­gional Col­lege.
