Cli­mate change talk later in the sum­mer

RES­I­DENTS have been urged to learn about re­duc­ing their car­bon foot­print this sum­mer. Peter­bor­ough City Coun­cil cli­mate change of­fi­cer Jenna Hi­ley will give the free talk at Bret­ton Li­brary in Au­gust. Vis­i­tors will learn about the im­pact en­ergy con­sump­tion has on the city, along with top tips and guid­ance on how to mon­i­tor your en­ergy use, save money and max­imis­ing of grants that may be avail­able. There is a free goody bag for all at­ten­dees. The event will take place at 6pm at the Bret­ton Li­brary, in The Cres­set, on Wed­nes­day Au­gust 8. There is no need to book your place in ad­vance.
