Tweedie and Rut­ter­ford are so dom­i­nant

DAMIAN Rut­ter­ford and Nathantweedie recorded con­vinc­ing wins at the PACTrac/peter­bor­ough Schools Triathlon at Stan­ground Col­lege.

They both led all the way and recorded the fastest split in each if the three dis­ci­plines. Rut­ter­ford won by more than seven min­utes in the 13-14 year-old’s race while Tweedie was six min­utes clear in the 15-16 year-old’s event where Katie Green fin­ished sec­ond.

James Cooper won the clos­est event, the 9-10 year-old’s race. Anna Blake­ley led com­ing out of the pool with Cooper four sec­onds be­hind and Eve Wright on his tail.

Cooper then recorded the fastest bike split to lead and de­spite Matthew Ar­den re­duc­ing the deficit on the run he was still 36 sec­onds adrift at the fin­ish.

Matthew Would­ham recorded the fastest swim and run times to win the 11-12 year-old’s race, where Jonathan Oakey was quick­est on the bike, while Sam Hughes dom­i­nated the eight yearold’s race.
