Mon­berg added: “I re­mem­ber win­ning at Poole that night and hope­fully we can get some points again.

“It’s a place where you have to make fast starts be­cause there is only one real rac­ing line around there. If we can do that we’ll have a chance.”

Mon­berg will line up along­side Mon­day night hero Richard Law­son at re­serve tonight. Lasse Bjerre con­tin­ues in the other dou­bling-up berth af­ter a handy show­ing against Birm­ing­ham.
