BOURNE Ladies booked their place in a first-ever cup final in some style.

They eased into the Fen­land Ladies League Cup show­piece by sink­ing un­beaten league cham­pi­ons Wis­bech St Mary at Re­cre­ation Road, com­ing from be­hind to bag a 2-1 vic­tory.

Bourne con­ceded early in the sec­ond half but So­phie Fisher soon fired them level when drilling a fierce shot into the roof of the net.

They then missed a golden chance to hit the front when top-scorer Lotti Christie crashed a penalty against the cross­bar but Han­nah Goold en­sured they ad­vanced when head­ing a late win­ner af­ter be­ing picked out by Becca Bur­ton’s free-kick.

Bourne’s re­ward is a final date against Outwell which is sched­uled for tonight but the venue is yet to be con­firmed. a sec­ond-half col­lapse. They had led 3-0 at the in­ter­val thanks to a Sarah Ket­ter­ing­ham hat-trick.
