Cadets fly high on exams success
SEVEN talented cadets from a Peterborough group have just completed a series of exams with flying colours.
The young members of the Air Training Corps 115 (Peterborough) Squadron were presented with certificates for success in their first aid and skills exams.
The youngsters have been studying for their Master and Senior cadet badges for more than six months.
Flight Lieutenant Stephen Dalton, commanding officer, presented the certificates and congratulated the cadets on their hard work and dedication to the squadron.
He said: “Alongside the fun activities that the Air Cadets offers to our members, such as flying and gliding, there is an academic element to our organisation.
“These exams can be used towards the cadets obtaining a BTEC award, sometimes before they have even sat their GCSE examinations.”
