Bur­glars get away with car and cash

BUR­GLARS stole a car and cash af­ter break­ing into a house in broad day­light.

The raid hap­pened at a house in Sta­tion Road, Long Sut­ton, near Spald­ing be­tween 11am and 6.45pm on Wed­nes­day, May 23.

The bur­glars broke into the house by forc­ing open a rear win­dow, be­fore reach­ing into the house to un­lock the back door.

A quan­tity of cash was stolen, to­gether with the keys to a black Volk­swa­gen Golf, reg­is­tra­tion YK58 GYA, that was parked on the drive.

The thieves then left with the car.

Lin­colnshire Po­lice are ap­peal­ing for any­one with in­for­ma­tion about the bur­glary, or who wit­nessed any­thing sus­pi­cious in the area on Wed­nes­day, to get in touch.
