The Key to a beautiful ballet

The Peterborough Evening Telegraph - - THE GUIDE -

HIGHLY acclaimed European Ballet presents the enchanting The Sleeping Beauty.

Under the direction of Stanislav Tchassov, former principal dancer of The Bolshoi Ballet, this dynamic company of international dancers has endeared itself to audiences for its commitment to high artistic standards and energy of its dancers.

Set to Tchaikovsky’s score, enhanced by more than 45 beautiful handcrafted costumes, the ballet is ideal for audiences of all ages.

It will be performed at Peterborough Key Theatre next Thursday and Friday.

Highly respected dancers from Russia, Italy, France, Spain, Latvia, Estonia and the UK will perform in this production.

Based on Charles Perrault’s fairy story, the ballet is about a beautiful Princess bound by a wicked fairy’s spell to sleep for a hundred years.

She can only be woken by the kiss of a handsome prince.

Colourful sets, lavish costumes and a magnificent score by Tchaikovsky make this beautiful ballet a favourite.

Tickets cost £20 from 01733 207239. Concessions are available.
