The secret to losing weight while enjoying old favourites
LADIES looking to drop a dress size or two are invited to join a Stanground-based slimming group.
Slimming World meets every Thursday at Stanground Community Centre, in Whittlesey Road, at 5.30pm and 7.30pm.
Jo Mchattie, South Cambridgeshire district manager for Slimming World, said: “Slimming World offers an extra easy eating plan that is simple to follow, easy to stick to and includes healthy versions of popular foods such as fish and chips, cooked breakfasts and Sunday roasts.
“There is no reason to ever feel hungry or deprived on your weight loss journey, and our meals fit in with the whole family.”
Jo added: “We have recently launched our Let’s Beat Obesity Together Campaign and it is fantastic to see record numbers of new members joining us, with each and everyone of them committed to making a positive change.
“Just by losing 10 per cent of their body weight, members can start to see benefits including reduced stress on joints, reduced risk of diabetes and heart disease and improved mood and self-esteem.”
