Annual festival set to provide families with fun-filled days
PREPARATIONS are under way for an annual festival in Orton Longueville.
The Botolph Green Residents’ Association is currently organising its sixth annual Festival on the Green.
The event will take place at Botolph Green on Saturday, June 16 and Sunday, June 17 and people are being urged to pencil it in their diaries if they would like to enjoy the event.
John Sharman, from the Botolph Green Residents’ Association, said: “This will be an event which all the family can enjoy.
“There will be a number of arena displays, music, dance, sporting displays, stalls, inflatables, face painting, a family dog show, as well as food and drink.”
As well as the festival, the group will also be showing the England vs Sweden Euro 2012 football match on Friday, June 15 from 7.45pm.
Tickets cost £12 for adults and £5 for children. Tickets to watch the football cost £5.
