Bels win a ding-dong battle with Deeping
STAMFORD Bels are the first Peterborough League Veterans’ champions.
The golden Bels oldies saw off Deeping Rangers Vets 4-3 on penalties in the final of the inaugural season.
The two teams had been deadlocked at 1-1 after extra-time.
BOURNETOWN player Jason Kilbride is in the England squad for two futsal internationals this weekend.
Kilbride is part of the national party for friendly clashes against Denmark tonight and tomorrow afternoon at the Sporthouse venue in Barking.
Kilbride, who plays his club futsal for Loughborough, is joined in the squad by March man Sam Murphy.
