An­other great sea­son for the mini mar­vels

Pic­tured is the IPTA team with their par­tic­i­pa­tion cer­tifi­cates. THE Pho­tos Un­lim­ited Peter­bor­ough Un­der 7 Mini-soc­cer Con­fer­ence League com­pleted its 13th sea­son last Satur­day at the Em­bank­ment syn­thetic pitch with over 100 boys and girls get­ting their first taste of or­gan­ised foot­ball. Run by Julie Mor­ton, the com­pe­ti­tion saw 14 teams par­tic­i­pate over the sea­son on a fort­nightly ba­sis with an avaerage of eight teams in ac­tion per ses­sion. The high­light of the last morn­ing was the pre­sen­ta­tion of par­tic­i­pa­tion cer­tifi­cates to play­ers from Young Dons, Powerleague, Deep­ing Rangers, Oun­dle and Hamp­ton. New­com­ers to the lo­cal foot­ball scene, IPTA, re­ceived their cer­tifi­cates two weeks ear­lier. The Con­fer­ence would like to thank Vi­vac­ity and all the qual­i­fied match ref­er­ees for their help through­out the sea­son. The 2012-13 sea­son will start mid Septem­ber and al­ready teams are show­ing in­ter­est. Any other teams wish­ing to en­ter should con­tact Julie Mor­ton on 07968 508238.
