Local legend Martin Adams is adamant he still possesses the class to win another Lakeside World Championship.
Adams is gunning for a fourth title in the blue riband event of the BDOside of the sport.
And he will roll i nto Frimley Green ahead of a first- round date with Dutch youngster Jimmy Hendriks on Sunday in buoyant mood despite a year to forget.
Adams, who suffered a serious loss of form while dealing with personal issues, said: “I think I still have the game to win the title. Putitthisway, I’mnotgoing down there to lose.
“Things have started to click for me in practice in the last few days and I’m feeling confident about my game again.
“I made a little change to what I’ve been doing and it seems to have worked well.
“It’s all about peaking at the right time ahead of a big tournament and hopefully I am doing that.
“I just want to go there and let my darts do the talking.”
