Emergency services called to sudden death in city
Emergency services were called to a property in Peterborough following the sudden death of a man. Cambridgeshire police were called to the address at Maskew Avenue, New England, Peterborough at about 3.35pm yesterday (Wednesday) following reports of the death. A number of police cars and an ambulance all attended the scene, and were there for more than an hour. A spokesman for the police said formal identification had not taken place, but they could confirm a man had died. The police spokesman said the death was not being treated as suspicious. However, the cause of the death has not been revealed.
